All possible combinations of the eight growth form types and the four foliage cover classes.
Of the thirty-two potential classes of vegetation, only twenty-eight types actually exist. These twenty-eight classes and their symbols (T4, L2 etc) will be used throughout the book. The classification follows exactly that used in the Atlas of Australian Resources, Volume 6, "Vegetation", AUSLIG (1990).
