The Referencing Method applied to Airborne Video data

A range of brightness surfaces and test results are included in the following (frame-grabbed) images that were acquired using the Digital Multi-Spectral Video (DMSV) on 28.09.95. Rh78 (Figure 2) is of an area that is dominated by tropical woodlands and mine operations. Rh79 (Figure 4) adjoins Rh78 and is dominated by tropical woodlands. Landsat TM imagery (27.09.95) was used as the reference image to model the brightness surfaces (Figure 3 and Figure 5).

Figure 2: DMSV Bands 1 (450nm), 2 (550nm), 3 (650 nm) and 4 (770nm) of rh78.

Figure 3: Brightness surfaces for DMSV Bands 1 (450nm), 2 (550nm), 3 (650 nm) and 4 (770nm) of rh78 modelled from TM bands 1-4.

Figure 4: DMSV Bands 1 (450nm), 2 (550nm), 3 (650 nm) and 4 (770nm) of rh79.

Figure 5: Brightness surfaces for DMSV Bands 1 (450nm), 2 (550nm), 3 (650 nm) and 4 (770nm) for rh79 modelled from TM.
